All products are supplied for installation by the customer or by a qualified tradesperson engaged independently by the customer. PTF Glass accepts no liability for the installation, fitting, or aftercare of products once they leave our premises or are delivered to your specified address.
It is the customer’s responsibility (or their appointed installer’s responsibility) to ensure that all installations comply with applicable building regulations, including Part L (conservation of fuel and power) and Part F (ventilation). For replacement windows and doors, compliance must be achieved through a FENSA or CERTASS registered installer, or via Local Authority Building Control notification.
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices quoted are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing (by email or order acknowledgement). We reserve the right to decline any order.
All windows, doors, and sealed units are manufactured to your specifications. It is your responsibility to provide accurate measurements and specifications. PTF Glass cannot accept liability for products manufactured to incorrect measurements supplied by the customer.
Made-to-measure products cannot be cancelled or returned once production has commenced. If you need to make changes to an order, contact us as soon as possible on 0113 236 1203.
Approved trade account holders receive 30-day credit terms from the date of invoice. Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date. A single monthly invoice is issued covering all orders placed during the billing period.
We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts at a rate of 8% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Credit limits are set at our discretion and may be reviewed periodically. We reserve the right to amend or withdraw credit facilities at any time.
If you are a consumer (not acting in the course of business), your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these terms.
If you place an order remotely (by phone, email, or through our website) or at your home, you may have a right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. This right does not apply to made-to-measure products that have been manufactured to your specifications.
Homeowner orders require payment in full prior to production commencing, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.
Products can be collected from our depot at Unit 12, West Leeds Industrial Park, 541 Stanningley Road, Leeds LS13 4EN during opening hours (Mon–Thu 7am–4pm, Fri 7am–2pm, Sat 8am–12pm).
It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect products at the point of collection. Any damage or discrepancies must be reported before the products leave our premises.
We offer delivery across Leeds and West Yorkshire. Delivery charges and timescales will be confirmed at the time of order. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery or collection.
Products must be inspected on delivery. Any damage must be noted on the delivery paperwork and reported to us within 48 hours.
It is the customer’s responsibility to store products correctly after delivery or collection. Products must be stored upright, under cover, and protected from the elements. PTF Glass is not liable for damage caused by improper storage.

Warranties are subject to the respective manufacturer’s terms and conditions. PTF Glass will assist with warranty claims but the warranty obligation lies with the manufacturer.

If a product is defective or does not match your specification, contact us within 48 hours of delivery or collection on 0113 236 1203 or sales@ptf-glass.co.uk. We will arrange inspection and, where appropriate, replacement or repair.
Made-to-measure products cannot be returned unless defective. Stock items may be returned in unused, original condition within 14 days for a credit or refund, subject to a 20% restocking charge.
PTF Glass’s liability under these terms is limited to the cost of the products supplied. We are not liable for:
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
