Yes. Our Distinction Doors range carries Secured by Design accreditation, tested to PAS 24:2016. This is a police-backed security standard that tests doors against sustained physical attack, including drilling, levering, and cylinder manipulation.
Composite doors are more secure, more thermally efficient, and more aesthetically versatile than standard uPVC panel doors. The solid core provides better insulation and soundproofing, and the GRP skin won’t warp, crack, or discolour over time. They also feel heavier and more substantial — closer to a timber door in look and feel.
Yes. Over 200 RAL colours are available, along with woodgrain effect finishes. You can also specify different colours for the inside and outside of the door. Standard colours are available within normal lead times; bespoke RAL colours may require 2-4 weeks.
Replacement doors in existing openings must meet Part L energy efficiency requirements. All Distinction Doors in our range exceed these requirements. Compliance certification is the responsibility of the installer (via FENSA, CERTASS, or Local Authority Building Control).
Composite doors carry a manufacturer warranty from Distinction Doors, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The warranty terms and duration are set by Distinction Doors.
