About PTF Glass, where we are, and when we’re open

Who is PTF Glass?

PTF Glass Ltd is a family-run windows, doors, conservatories, and glazing supplier based in West Leeds. Founded by Peter and Debra French, we’ve been trading since 2003 and incorporated in 2008. We supply trade customers and homeowners across Leeds and West Yorkshire — but we do not install. All products are supply only.

Where are you located?

Our depot and manufacturing facility is at Unit 12, West Leeds Industrial Park, 541 Stanningley Road, Leeds LS13 4EN. We’re easy to reach from Bradford, Pudsey, and the wider Leeds area. Free on-site parking is available.

What are your opening hours?

We’re open Monday to Thursday 7am–4pm, Friday 7am–2pm, and Saturday 8am–12pm. We’re closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays. You can also email sales@ptf-glass.co.uk at any time and we’ll respond on the next working day.

How long has PTF Glass been established?

We’ve been trading since 2003 — over 20 years supplying the glazing trade and homeowners across West Yorkshire. We’re a family business and proud of it. You’ll speak to the same people each time you call.

Do you install as well as supply?

No. PTF Glass is strictly a supply-only business. We don’t install any of the products we sell. If you’re a homeowner, we recommend using a FENSA or CERTASS-registered installer who can handle fitting and ensure compliance with building regulations. We’re happy to point you in the right direction if needed.

Products

Our 12 product ranges, systems, and what we manufacture

What products do you supply?

We supply 12 product ranges: Windows (Eurocell Logik & Modus), Composite Doors (Distinction Doors GRP, PAS 24), Doors (uPVC and aluminium — French, back, and stable), Bi-Fold Doors (Eurocell Aspect aluminium), Sliding & Patio Doors (Eurocell Syncro), Conservatories (Victorian, Edwardian, lean-to), Orangeries, Garden Rooms, Porches, Solid Roofs (Equinox conservatory roof replacement), Roof Lanterns & Skylights (Eurocell Skypod), and Sealed Units & Glass produced in-house.

Which window systems do you use?

We fabricate windows using two Eurocell profile systems: Logik for standard residential and commercial specifications (A++ energy rating, U-value as low as 0.9 W/m²K), and Modus for premium thermal performance (A++ energy rating, U-value as low as 0.8 W/m²K, Future Homes Standard ready). Both carry a 10-year Eurocell manufacturer guarantee.

What composite door range do you supply?

We supply Distinction Doors — a GRP (Glass Reinforced Polymer) composite door range. Distinction Doors are Secured by Design certified and compliant with PAS 24:2016, which is the security standard required by most insurers and local authority planning departments. They’re available in a wide range of styles and colours.

Do you manufacture sealed units in-house?

Yes. Sealed units are produced at our West Leeds facility, which means shorter lead times and better quality control compared to sourcing from third parties. We produce standard double-glazed argon-filled units as well as triple-glazed and acoustic units. If you need a replacement sealed unit for an existing frame, call us with the dimensions.

Do you supply conservatory roof replacements?

Yes. We supply Equinox solid conservatory roofs — a tiled solid roof system that replaces an existing conservatory polycarbonate or glass roof, transforming the space into a usable room year-round. These are supply-only; your installer handles the fitting. Call us to discuss your conservatory’s dimensions and frame type.

Trade Accounts

30-day credit, how to apply, and what trade customers get

How do I open a trade account?

Call us on 0113 236 1203 or email sales@ptf-glass.co.uk to request a trade account application. We typically approve accounts within 48 hours. You’ll need to provide basic business details — company name, registered address, and trading history. Once approved, you’ll have access to 30-day credit terms, volume pricing, and a dedicated account manager.

What credit terms are available on a trade account?

Trade account holders benefit from 30-day credit terms — you order today and pay at the end of the following month. This is standard practice for installers and developers who need to manage cashflow across multiple jobs. Credit limits are set at account opening and reviewed based on trading history.

What else does a trade account include?

Trade account holders receive: 30-day credit terms, volume discounts that improve with order size, priority processing so your orders jump the queue during busy periods, and a dedicated account manager — a single point of contact who knows your business and preferences. We also won’t compete for your customers. We supply you; you supply the homeowner.

I’m a sole trader, can I still get a trade account?

Yes. You don’t need to be a limited company to open a trade account with us. We work with sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies alike. Call us to discuss your requirements and we’ll tailor the account to suit how you work.

Ordering & Collection

How to order, cut-off times, and delivery across West Yorkshire

How do I place an order?

You can order in three ways: by phone on 0113 236 1203, by email to sales@ptf-glass.co.uk, or in person at our depot on Stanningley Road. Phone and in-person orders during opening hours are the quickest way to get a confirmed lead time. For email orders, include product type, dimensions (in mm), colour, and any hardware or glazing specifications.

Is there a cut-off time for same-day confirmation?

Orders received before 11am are processed and confirmed the same day. Orders received after 11am will be processed and confirmed the following working day. This applies to all order types — phone, email, and in person.

Can I collect from your depot?

Yes. Collection from our LS13 depot is available during opening hours. We have on-site parking and loading facilities. Please call ahead once your order is confirmed so we can have it ready for you and ensure the loading bay is clear when you arrive.

Do you deliver, and how far?

Yes, we deliver across West Yorkshire, covering Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Harrogate, and York. Delivery is arranged at order confirmation — we’ll agree a date and time slot that works around your site. Call us to confirm availability and any delivery charge applicable to your area.

What are your typical lead times?

Windows and doors in standard stock colours (white, woodgrains) are typically ready in 5–7 working days. Foil colours (anthracite grey, green, black) and non-standard configurations are usually 2–4 weeks. Conservatories, orangeries, and bespoke structures vary — we’ll give you an exact lead time at quotation. In-house sealed units have the shortest turnaround.

Homeowners

Can homeowners buy from PTF Glass, and what do they need to know?

Can I buy from PTF Glass as a homeowner?

Yes. Homeowners are welcome to buy directly from PTF Glass. Because we’re a trade supplier, you’ll benefit from factory-direct pricing without a retail mark-up. However, we supply only — we don’t install. You’ll need to arrange installation separately through a qualified tradesperson. For replacement windows and doors, we recommend using a FENSA or CERTASS-registered installer to ensure compliance with building regulations.

Do I need to take measurements myself?

We strongly recommend having your installer measure your openings before you place an order. All our products are made to measure and cannot be returned once manufactured to your dimensions. If you’re confident taking measurements yourself, provide them in millimetres (width x height) for each opening. When in doubt, ask your installer first.

Do replacement windows require building regulations approval?

Yes. Replacement windows must meet Part L energy efficiency requirements (maximum U-value 1.4 W/m²K) and Part F ventilation requirements (trickle vents). Compliance can be achieved through a FENSA or CERTASS-registered installer — they self-certify the work, which removes the need for a local authority building control application. Both Eurocell Logik and Modus exceed the current Part L minimums.

Can you recommend an installer?

We don’t formally recommend installers, but we work with a network of experienced tradespeople across West Yorkshire. Call us on 0113 236 1203 and we can point you towards FENSA or CERTASS-registered installers in your area. You can also search for registered installers directly at fensa.org.uk or certass.co.uk.

Will PTF Glass compete with my installer for the supply?

No. We are a wholesaler and trade supplier — not a retail installer. We won’t contact your installer’s customers, undercut their quotes, or market directly to homeowners on their behalf. Installers who buy from us can trust that we won’t compete for their business. That’s a core part of how we operate.
